<p>If you want a gun of similar bore, just buy a 1911 in .40 or 10mm, don't have to convert it, and brass is easier to find.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>and you have to lathe turn the rims down as part of the brass forming process.  Or, pay more than a buck a round for brass.  Or get really lucky and find old stock ammo in a store.  I've been down this road.</p>
