I carry a Spyderco Delica, stainless. Clip has 4 (reply)

positions to suit and uses the Spyderco hole. Blade is under the 3.5-inch limit. The Endura (which I used to carry) isn't and is thus illegal in several jurisdictions. I got mine for much less than $100 but I think you can normally find them retail for about $80 or so on-line.

I like the Buck Vantage.... (reply)

...with the S30V blade. they make it in two different sizes, 2 5/8" and 3 1/4", and it has both a flipper and a hole in the blade -- and both work very smoothly. The pocket clip is reversible, and the S30V blade holds its edge VERY well. It has been my EDC knife for a couple of years now. I don't know what they are selling for now, but I bought mine a couple of years ago for about $55.

lefty folding knife? (reply)

I'm a lefty too. Check out Benchmade's Griptilian. They have a few different styles and sizes. Offered with thumb studs or a hole in the blade for opening. Plus the clip is reversible. It has their axis lock that is also ambidextrous. I have a 556Mini Griptilian with a 3" D2 blade with a thumb stud and a 550 Griptilian with a 3.5" 154CM blade with the hole. Both are nice knives. I prefer the mini for everyday carry. Full size is usually in my bib Carharts (today that's where it is) or in my hunting pack etc.

lefty folding knife?

I am looking for a one hand opening folder. Just bought a CRKT Hissatsu 2 that I love the feel of but it has a thumb disc and is impossible to open left handed. CRKT ads said it is reversible for left handed (reversible clip). Contacted them and they told me it was definitely not designed to be opened left handed! I do not like thumb studs or discs so I guess it will have to be either flipper or big hole in blade. I also don't want to take out a loan - I'm looking for under $100 and substantial but not massive - blade under 3.5". This would be an edc knife and I wear khakis or dress pants to work. H

Any suggestions?
