well, actually two thoughts - where can I get a decent 25-20 (preferably in a pistol format) and that'd be a really decent bullet for use in the Sumatra 25 caliber 2500 500 cc rifle if the rear band was milled off the mold. :)

Just a quick FYI to anybody who might be interested -- a couple of us are working with NOE to bring back the Ideal 257283, an 85 grain plain-based flat point for the .25-20. The example bullet was taken from this old single cavity Ideal 257283 mould for dimensions, and we hope to get things up and running some time after the holidays (Jan/Feb timeframe). This is an excellent bullet for the .25-20 (8.0 grains of 4227 gives 1680 fps and excellent accuracy). I will be ordering a 4 or 5 cavity gang mould for this one.
