I picked up a Ruger NM Bearcat in Stainless this weekend. I like it so far except for the ejector rod housing... Cheasy rough/painted? Aluminum... must go. Also the barrel is 4 1/4".

I see Bowen has them for ~$55. Any other options? Opinions as to whether the housing should go to the end of the barrel or stop 1/4" short as it does now?

Any other mod's you all favor whIle I'm working on it?
