Why do these things always turn up when the toy fund is completely depleted?

Of course, it's my own fault it's depleted - my 12 gauge Charles Moore hammer gun should arrive today or tomorrow.

Duly noted, but several of those guns, you know which ones, are keepers unless they aren't. Rainy days, dumb stunts, and bad ideas often need financing, but when I run out of those, you will still be a youngster, so that puts you in the catbird seat.
