I got my copy in the mail this week. There is an article about instinctive handgun hunting. The author uses an 1873 45 colt.

I have been a subscriber since 1970. It's the only real practical outdoors magazine. I may never get to Africa or have any kind of guided hunt but I grew up trapping muskrats, coon, fox and coyotes for spending money. I still identify with that.

Good articles. The Moscow Hide & Fur ads always grabbed my interest. I have had the opportunity to climb all over Moscow Hide & Fur's piles of cool stuff!

Does anybody get this magazine? I saw a picture of the November 2013 issue's cover. It had "The Perfect Hunting Pistol" written across the bottom. I'm curious as to what they think that is. I haven't been able to find a copy locally.
