Pachy Compac Grip makes these perfect.

The grips seem to be too "sticky" for CCW though.

WTG on the purchase . . .

Did ya get him to throw in a box of practice ammo?

In 75 - 77 I sold about 2.3 gazillion of those. (reply)

Super buddy, brother in law, just between us guys, you look like a nice guy to me (standard line of Salesman Equine Scat) price was $100 tax included that was $95.24 + tax. Still remember that. $100 in 1976 run through a CPI calculator equals $410 and change in today's dollars.

I'd say you dun good.

So I was having a pretty crappy day today and decided to take the edge off before going home to the wife and kids. I stopped by a favorite gun shop and what did I see but a cute little .38 in the revolver case. It didn't have a tag in it so I hollered at Bob. He hollered back $199. I looked it over pretty quick and started to fill out a 4473!!

He said his preacher had bought it awhile back for his daughter and he was bringing it in to trade on something else. I not sure if its ever been fired! Only spot of any kind of wear is on the cylinder where it has a couple of a HFCs, like it sat in a wooden dresser drawer and slid around a little bit. I may have to see about replacing the pimp grips, but they do feel decent in my big paws. Double action is a bit stuff, but like I said, it's nearly new! Single action is every bit as good as any Smith I've owned! Wish I would have had it with me at the range yesterday, but I'm sure I'll testify out soon enough.

Here are a couple of pics, I don't think I got hurt for $200!!

I haven't found any good lists for serial numbers but based on the barrel address and the number, I'm guessing in the '76-78 era, maybe born close to when I was! I was thinking something like this woul be good to stash under these at of the new Roadstar, but this one may be too nice!
