Rob, a little reminder of the Palouse Country..... (reply)

Next time you see a tug boat going by check out the boats it carries on it. The ones that like venison could shoot them from the river and use the little boats to go get them. The tug never has to slow down. Saves a lot of walkin and climin. That big spotlight could really come in handy while navigating in the dark. Not saying they do, but if they wanted to, out there in between dams, in the really hard to get to places, with a cook already on board, not sayin they do.

That deer.... (reply)

...was taken in this canyon, a couple hundred yards below where this picture was taken. This is from the south side of the Snake River, just south of Lower Granite Dam, looking back towards Pullman (i.e. looking NE).

A mulie doe, shot on the breaks of the Snake, about 2 miles south of Lower Granite Dam outside of Pullman, WA (just off Wawawai Grade Road). S&W 629 revolver, using the Lyman Devastator HP. Neck shot. Yeah, the cold beer tasted REAL good after we had this one packed out of those rocky canyons!
