I put a set of factory black plastic stocks on it and it looks much better than with the Hogues. Would look even better with wooden stocks, especially black eagle walnuts.

WTS - Engraved Ruger Mk II

3. Need to move this Ruger Mark II. Nicely scroll engraved by a student at Montgomery Community College's (here in NC) gunsmithing school (one of the best gunsmithing schools east of the Mississippi, believe it or not). Tasteful coverage and good execution. Don't know the student's name or when he did it, as I bought it after it was done, but that info was passed on to me from the previous owner. It has been shot and used since engraving, so it shows a bit of wear, the worst being some scratches and wear on the backstrap. There is additional engraving under the grips and it would look so much nicer with a pair of factory walnut grips, which would show the extra engraving, but I don't have an extra set lying around. Comes with a factory box (unnumbered), two factory mags, a typed piece of paper detailing it was done by an MCC student, and a factory manual. Has a custom target crown and Bo-Mar rear sight. Really neat piece that you can enjoy and use. $750 shipped from my dealer to yours.
