Engraved Stainless Goodness (reply)

FOG, I have been told by master class engravers that stainless steel tears, rather than cuts, that's why world class engravers usually pass on stainless, because it does not show their true capabilities. Most engravers in this class say that the engraving on money plates is of coarse quality.

Engraved Stainless Goodness

Generally speaking, I prefer plain stainless, if only because most of the engraved pistols I've seen looked kind of 'scratchy'. I suppose it's more difficult to engrave stainless, but that's just a guess.

In any case, I *do* like the engraving on this one.

A lot.
