If it's any conslation, I'd say there's a fair-to-middlin' chance that, in the not-too-distant-future,
said Sparks 6-4C will be coming to a CSA Auction (or Raffle), hopefully one near you.

I'm cheap. Every time I trash a leather billfold (fairly often since I'm hard on 'em) I cut the credit card pocket out of it. Usually still in good shape and just the right size to hold a Speed-Strip.

That tab always breaks off for me after a couple/three months or so if carried in a pocket. The only way they seem to last longer for me is in a Simply Rugged ammo pouch worn on the belt. Pocket carry also results in the rubber failing and cracking around the cartridge heads. My best guess is that my perspiration is toxic to plastic. Can't wear one of those cheap plastic watch bands either (not that I wear a watch anymore anyway.)

Truthfully, I don't find it all that useful, but it does go to show ya: There's more than one way to skin a cat.
