robbt: Here's what it says for the OP -

STOCKS: Full-checkered walnut, square built (typo?). Can be supplied with round butt also.

Don't know if that means they made some that way or just COULD make 'em on special order. Sometime or another they made a "Marshal" model on the OP frame that did have a round butt. 2" and 4" I believe. Pretty scarce, IIRC.

howdy , unsre can you please check under colt officail police model and see if a round but is listed ??
i know it was listed in 65 or 66.
