<title>Looks like a good solution (reply)</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I like the style of certain flap holsters, but I can only guess where they would be most useful (busting through dry brush, etc.).</p>
<p>Whenever I hunted with a handgun, it was usually in my hand, not the holster.</p>

<title>I make the Flap Jack a detachable swivel flap on a pancake (reply)</title>

What I have found for use in the colder climes is that a standard pancake holster covers the gun very well and rides close enogh that one's shell or fleece or vest covers the pistol and provides great protection for the gun, yet allows quick access to the pistol.<br />

<p>Is the flap integral or attached?  How well does it cover the but in cross draw position?</p>
