I love small .32s, but the advent of the .32 H&R sidetracked me from the .32 S&W. I've owned quite a few .32 H&Rs (at least 5, by my reckoning) and still have a Ruger Bisley small frame, a Ruger SP101 and a Browning Lo-Wall (rebored from .22 Hornet). I'd planned on a custom Martini Cadet and even bought an action, but the Lo-Wall cost a lot less, even with the rebore, so the action will someday become a lightweight deer rifle (finances permitting) chambered for either 7mm Waters or .30-30.

I've considered it more than once (reply)

Most recently because of what you might call 'dwindling recoil tolerance'.

I was surprised to find two things during my surveys:
1) relatively high gun prices
2) match-grade ammo in stock at Midway, and at a relatively low price

Somehow, I doubt the latter persists.

Regarding the former, I am used to high prices for K-32s, but it was kind of shocking to see how much some of the I-frames are bringing these days. It seems like it wasn't that long ago when you could hardly give them away.

Having a good time today shooting 32s. Two Smiths and a Colt. Old blue steel revolvers still fascinate me after all these years. Nice little cartridge and accurate, especially in the K-32.
