That sounds like a sweet rig. (reply)

The DSA 30's have worked ok for you? I see they have 20, 25. And 30 rounders. The 30's look a little long but as long as I'm not prone or on the bench they should be ok.

Haven't seen reasonably priced surplus 20-rounders in about a decade. I should have bought a whole pallet of them when they were $6 each. I did pick up some DSA 30-rounders a while back; I think AIM Surplus had them.

Any FAL shooters?

I know Mark Cassil has one and I'm pretty sure Rob Leahy has at least one; any other fans of 'the right arm of the free world'? I mailed a check out last night for one built with an Imbel kit on a Coonan frame, assembled at CCG. It's pretty tricked out with a DSA railed topcover and a railed forearm. It also comes with all the standard parts. My favorite aspect is that the barrel is 16" and has the proper threads for my .30 cal can. It'll be fun to play with for sure. It's coming with four mags which will get me by for a bit, but I'd appreciate any suggestions on remaining pllaces to get reasonably priced surplus mags.

I did find some 150gr soft points to load up. I've got a good bit of brass, but let go of my surplus ammo when I sold off my M-14's a few years back. I probably my need to get a small base die to make sure the ammo is in spec. With any luck it'll be in Friday, but it'll probably be Monday before I can pick it up. I'll make sure to put up some bragging pics when it comes in!!
