'50/50' is pretty far from chance (reply)

50/50 is chance when flipping coins because there are only 2 possibilities. 50/50 with that little thing with those 'suggestions' of sights at 100 yards on a B27 or whatever is good shooting. Very good.

I do agree however that I would want more punch and better accuracy before I would call a handgun a 100 meter weapon. On the other hand I certainly do not want one of those Swiss range rats plinking at me with his P32. No thanks.

The P32 as a 100 meter gun? (reply)

Well, my IZH-46M is a 50 meter gun - groups very well at that distance. :) That's five times past its design of 10 meter competition. 100 meters is about 10 times past what most folks would consider the design of the weapon - but about 5 times past where I'd normally think of using one.

The P32 has worse sights but better energy and penetration. Folks scoff at pistols for distance because they've never given them a decent chance.
