new (?) US production LC9 magazines. What happens is that due to a dimensional difference they will not disengage the magazine safety so that one can pull the trigger.

Bought mine last fall, they work fine (reply)

Ruger LC9 US made magazines don't work

We have made an interesting discovery. All the Italian made magazines for the LC9 work a treat. All the USA made mags are about .020" undersized and won't disengage the mag safety, hence make the pistol non-functional. That's for 5 of 5 US made magazines.
