...you have LOTS of good options. I would size bullets .451" (or .4515" if you have that sizer) and play around with whatever cast bullet designs interest you. I am a big fan of the Lee 230 grain TC (with the real lube groove), but there are many others that will work nicely in your gun.

Throats appear to be .4515. A little on the small side. Might need to have them opened up a bit. The Lee 230 grain tunble lube bullet was not accurate. The Milhec 230 hollow point was very accurate as was the Lee 200 grain flat nose (45 colt bullet). I like the idea of the heavier bullet though and will order 425424

I wish I could say how this 45-240K design at Accurate Molds compares to the 452423 but I don't know the dimensions of the 452423.

Tom at Accurate Molds can change the dimensions of the designs listed on his website to whatever a customer specifies so to fit their chamber/throat.

Lyman continued to make it up into the 80s (I think), but it's been out of producgtion for a while. They do show up on the used mould market, so keep your eye on ebay, etc. How big are the throats on your M22? Also, it's worth noting that the 454424 also shoots well in my gun.

Glen, I just purchased a new Model 22 from my local FFL. I read about your success with 452423. Is that a current production mold? I found a 452424 (255 grain) on Lymans website but no 452423.
