Got a chance to sight in the Scar 17s today.

Friend gave me his Scar 17 today (7.62mm) to get his scope sighted in for him. He put the Leopold HAMR with Delta Point on top of that.

WOW....FN got it right in my opinion..I ran five different kinds of ammo thru it and the darn thing shot everything except Wolf Brown Bear into a cluster.

Got a group with Radway Green Nato Surplus 7.62 ...four shots into a clover leaf and pulled number five to other side of one inch square. Still under a inch at 100 yards.

Some commercial stuff did as good or better.

Ran about 200 total rounds thru the gun without a clitch.

Most impressive thing I got out of the setup was the gun has just about NO MUZZLE FLIP. My BAR Sarfari MK II has a 18 inch barrel and weighs more and it has about three times the muzzle climb than the Scar 17s has.

Well thought out piece of equipment in my opinion. Off hand and sand bagged best self defense rifle I have ever had the pleasure to shoot.
