My 2005 ran 140k and was traded off in December (reply)

for a 2012. I had only one service call that I recall for a mystery problem which was solved by cleaning up a ground wire connection. I have been meaning to add up the "Total Cost of Ownership" as I did keep records. Maybe later on today.

(Hint: Hoot works for Cummins and needs enough engines to be sold so he can retire.)

Nice truck for sure.

Jack, I am right there with you in my '04. Put a new battery in 2011 right at 100K. At 120K now still on original brakes, hoses belt etc. Engine doesn't use a drop of oil.

Total repairs to this point was a $38 EGR sensor, $60 A/C blend door, a $85 door latch, and $1.50 for a new hose clamp on a leaky power steering line.( I hate those crimp on hose clamps.) I do all the work myself, so less than $200 in 9 years isn't bad at all.

My '03 Chevy has required a bit more work to say the least.

Time flies when yer getting old.:) Bought in late 2003. Other than maintenance items, I've replaced one tail light bulb, and one crankshaft position sensor which cost me $95. Everything still works, and the hemi has as much scoot as it's ever had. No leaks, no oil usage. I like it...

After 10 years, and 100+K miles, my original factory battery recently died. I guess they just don't make them like they used to. I suppose the original plugs, brakes, belt, and hoses will go next...

Wife had a couple new rigs over the years and now the kids are all raised and gone and it's finally my turn.
