<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Can't tell you when Ruger stopped fluting them, but they are relatively rare.  If I recall correctly (and Matt can chime in here with accurate information), there were less than 2500 of them made in that configuration in .41 Magnum.</p>

<title>Fluted 41 Bisley</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I picked this up today at my local shop. It was made in 85 by the serial number. Any idea what year Ruger stopped fluting the cylinders?  It's in excellent shape but has a few spots of freckling on the grip frame.  Appears to have been shot very little. </p>
