I might have been wrong way back then, and of course I could be now, but to tell the truth, that breakdown of the terminology always made sense to me.

It has always been the 'outcast' caliber among The Big Three, but every once in a while the bug goes around again and prices go up, only to settle back down to 'normal' once the fever breaks.

Sometimes the guns fly off the shelves, but more often they sit there a while, and inventory costs money.

That Patridge front sight is like icing on a cake; I always thought the standard ramp front sight on the 6½-inch 624s didn't 'fit' as well as the target-type blade would have.

Conversely, I'd much rather have the standard trigger and hammer this gun is fitted with than the fat, clumsy target trigger and hammer usually found on 6½-inch 624s.

Look at it this way: 'It's only money.'
