If I am thinking correctly, it's a Bushnell Phantom that was simply Herter's branded. It's clear but not "Leupold clear". Kind of neat in a 'period way'.

many of the folks on this site regard Hal as their hero growing up. I couldn't get enough of Hals' writings. Sure like to get a crack at owning something of Hal's fer sure.

I have an old Herters pistol scope and mount for a Ruger Blackhawk that I'd be willing to throw in the box for the CSA auction/raffle. The picture below was stolen off the 'net but is pretty close. Is there interest at all or have I crossed into "white elephant" territory?
