I run up and down the highways a lot for my job. Took a little different route last week and stopped at a pawn shop with a bug sign GUNS & AMMO out front. He had lots of 22 LR ammo, so I checked the prices. It was all in 50 round boxes, the cheapest was some Mexican Aguila ammo for $7.99

Thank goodness I have about 10,000 rounds stashed for a "rainy day".

I found one place in San Antonio that has 325 rns. boxes of CCI Mini-mag for $170 per. That is 50 cents a round!!!!!

Fortunately I have several unopened bricks of the bulks stuff but just started trying to stock up on some higher quality stuff like Mini-Mags and Stingers. Got one box of each and the panic hit and haven't seen a round since. Craziness!

I just bought the last 10/22 in the state of New Jersey today. Our instent ck is backed up 2 weeks and there is not a round of 22 ammo in the state to buy. I saw a USED plain jane 10/22 going for 200.00 and it won't last the weekend. Things are tough here. J.Michael

My gun dealer is hopping mad a Ruger. Seems Ruger has cancelled all back orders and in a few months everybody has to order again. He had over 50 guns on order. I suspect this has something to do with them wanting to raise prices, which they can do on new orders.
