I don't think 650 is too high. Naturally we all want a good deal but I wouldn't sell any of mine for less than that.

Kinda depends upon . . . (reply)

. . . what his 90% is compared to yours, and how strong your "gotta have it" factor is.

I have decided that I cannot properly evaluate a gun without hands-on examination. This, of course, limits my opportunities at the purchase of neat old stuff.

Good pictures are a big help, and if good enough may satisfy the "almost-hands-on" scenario.

That said, OM .45's are a relatively scarce commodity in either length, and deserve a little more consideration than some others. I haven't seen one of almost any condition under $500 for a long time.

JMHO, of course.

In 90% condition, that puts it out of real collectible range so I'd value it no higher than about $500-$600.

If you can get the s/n on it, I'd appreciate knowing it as I'm trying to put some history together on the OM 45s (my main area of Ruger collecting).

Hope this helps,

One for sale semi locally. Says its in 90% condition. No box. It's a 7 1/2" and I prefer the shorter barrels. What's a good deal on such a gun?
