one thing tho.. the Winchester was not the "long rifle"... it is a 20" carbine... but for that price ($350) and being a pre-64... I figured I'd might as well go for it anyway... GRIN

he says it's got a little wear on the stock but other than that it's in fine shape... the photo is not very clear so I can't tell... he says it shoots great.. but don't they all say that?.. GRIN

you can think about buying the Winchester. I've never seen an Official Police in 22 lr before and the Colt has a good price on it.

ok... so I found locally a Winny 94 rifle (not carbine) made in 52 for $400 and a Colt Official Police in .22lr for $375.... how are these prices and should I get serious about them?
