Different kind of day

Normally I have my 1911 close at hand, today just felt like a Flattop .45 kind of day. Now I will admit, that today I have the 45 ACP cylinder installed, not the Colt, the wife and I were going to go send some lead downrange, but it didn't pan out, weather was blowing dust and 40mph winds. So I have just kept it close at hand all day, like an old friend, comforting. Sitting right above the keyboard as I type.
