11 month ordeal is over............

Now it is time for some fun............

Ordered the 22 Mite on March 10th 2012, the Mite came in late June 2012, mailed the paperwork to the ATF mid July 2012, less than a week later they cashed my $200 check. Last night my dealer called saying the paperwork was in from the ATF, I can pick up the suppressor.

I was very happy the wait was finally over but I have been kinda busy lately and had not gotten around to buying a handgun to screw the suppressor onto nor sending off my extra 10/22 barrel to have it threaded. So I was in a little bit of a panic this morning running around town trying to find a threaded pistol to buy, I had been hearing local shops had empty display cases and were having a hard time buying new stock to sell. Had a bit of luck, first shop I stopped in had the Ruger Lite 22/45, held the pistol in my hand for all of about three seconds then told the salesman "I'll take it". Cleared the NICS check in 5 minutes, paid for it and was out the door to pick up the suppressor.

Got home, read the suppressor instruction booklet, screwed on the Mite to the Ruger, went into the garage, set up a couple of wood 4x4's, loaded the clip with CCI standard velocity ammo and celebrated : ) Even being in the garage with sound bouncing off cement walls it sounded like a pellet rifle going off. Now I need to get the 10/22 barrel done, buy some other types of ammo and celebrate some more.
