I am sincerely sorry for your loss but it sounds as if his passing was peaceful, without pain and suffering, and as you said, leads him to a better place.

Probably most of you know by now that Dad passed away this morning. Peacefully. In his sleep. He received a wonderful Christmas present .. being face to face with his Creator AND reuniting with Mom!
