It is a Springfield Armory Loaded Model I traded into 7 years ago or so. If things ever calm down, and I can keep some money in my pocket, I will pick up an SR1911, be nice to have an American made classic.

Yes, I will be ordering a couple more Mags, and I will also be taking my Chekmate mags out next trip to the range. I cannot express how happy I am right now. As much as I love my single actions, the one semi auto pistol I own is the one I carry the most.

Took my 1911 out for a live fire function test. Ran like a champ! Only had time for a box and a half, but no FTE at all, not a hiccup, not even a single case mouth dented. I feel like a good friend has returned after a long sickness.
