<title>He was the Dean of Texas hunting and shooting writers (reply)</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>for quite a long time. He had a regular article in one of the Houston papers for many years. He wrote mostly about Texas Gulf Coast and South Texas hunting and shooting. If you were an active hunter and shooter in those areas (which I was), you would cross paths with him from time to time.</p>
<p>He was a fine writer, sportsman and person. We are not producing folks like him anymore. Pity!</p>
