More surgery tomorrow

D has been scheduled for another resection(s) tomorrow - this one is more involved than the last - to be followed by radiation therapy. All told, we are looking at four to six weeks of procedures and recovery.

Scans last week showed no new tumors, giving the doctors and surgeons the impression that removing these was a sound, if temporary, solution. Everyone is realistic about the chance of 'curing', but we will not give up.

Our plans to travel have clearly been rerouted, so to speak. We will be on the move again as soon as possible.

Thank you for your kind notes and thoughts... we appreciate your compassion. And we appreciate our dear friend who will be staying here to watch over the other boys and the dog.
