Can your 8 year old operate/open the action on a Contender? I've always thought that the Contender carbine would be the perfect starter rifle if the youth can open the action.

921665149 guns america auction for a tc Hot Shot. I am assumin you are lookin for a .22. By the time you get frame, barrel, and stock you will be lookin at close to $600. I have a frame, polymer carbine stock, 30-30 barrel, not really interested in selling but would consider a trade of some sort.

Shipping handguns around here makes it very hard, not economically sound. Tough when you have to give $50-$60 to someone to ship it.

I'm looking for a T/C Contender frame to set up a carbine for my 8 year old son. Could use a stock set also. Anyone have an extra frame sitting around? Thanks.
