My father lapsed into a coma yesterday evening
And they started him on morphine. Dr thinks he only has a couple of days. He's lived a good hardworking life (88) and God is calling him home. He has had severe dementia the past couple of months so this is a blessing of sorts.
May have to warn St. Peter to keep him away from power tools...

I lost my own father two years ago this coming Sunday. It's hard, but I know he's in a better place.
