Disturbing the peace

Neighbor Hank next door had a fireworks show over at his place last night. When I got over there, he asked me to start off the festivities by touching off 12.7 pounds of Tannerite with his .300 Winchester Magnum. So I did. Glad it was 350 yards away. Shook the whole dang neighborhood. I am now the hero of Hunter's Point, except to my wife. She was quietly reading at home and was excessively startled by the commotion. Caught the devil when I got home. Worth it.

Big bottles of tannerite are fun, a little scary at times but fun to wake up the neighborhood with.

Reminds me of Jim Taylor's account of setting off the Thunder Mug. As I recall, he didn't warn Twyla and "...she lost her religion..." :-D
