Winchester just released a run of .25-20 brass.

WHERE?

Don't mean to "shout" but brass has been unobtainium for a long time now. Midway doesn't show it nor does Buffalo or Graf's. I sure wouldn't mind laying in a couple hundred more....

Thanks!

I saw that but I'd prefer proper headstamps if I can get them.

Hoot:

It’s reappearance was mentioned on the 24hourcampfire discussion boards in the Lever Actions category. Guy posting just said it put in an appearance at his unnamed LGS after having been on backorder for a long time. Didn’t know who the distributor was. I’m sitting on several hundred unfired Winchester cases for my single shot (a custom Martini Cadet) so I noted the announcement only in passing and wouldn’t have given it further thought had not the discussion about the .25-20 appeared here.

If any more info turns up there I’ll post it.

Rem

I appreciate that Sir.

I have maybe a couple hundred but, because of the relative scarcity, I'd like a few more. One .25-20 is a single shot but the other is a '92 lever and sometimes it'll fling brass into another dimension.

Cheers!

Ooooof! doesn't really say enough...

Thanks for all the good words. Bobby Tyler did this rifle up right. We decided to leave the original wood as is, I just wiped it down with mineral oil to remove the grime that been gathering for some time.
