Deer Hunting in TX

I managed to get this one on a friend's ranch in Texas yesteday. Shot with Freedom Arms in 45 Colt with a 255 grain lead SWC going about 1000 fps. Shot in center chest facing me at 55 yards. Dead right there. It was a nice day to hunt in some beautiful country.

Great looking deer, I missed a nice one today at about 50 yds , with one of my freedom arms 454. I don`t know what went wrong.
