Winter between the Canal and the Equator

Winter's hit us hard this year. Little rain, higher temps than average. But we're survivin'. And so are the trees, so far. The park across from my office window is full of blooming trees and plants, for which we are thankful. One of those plants is a Brugmansia Arborea tree, also known as "angels' trumpet flower", and probably others. Here they call it the "borrachera" (drunkenness) due to the effect of sniffing the blooms too enthusiastically. Bees, on the other hand, couldn't care less.
