mentions arrest of prohibited person in Richmond CA for possession of 248 firearms including some the article calls "machine guns", and a million rounds of ammunition.

I'll give the article some benefit of the doubt, and assume what they call machine guns really are full automatic firearms, although often enough machine gun is anything black and semi auto.

The photo shows one Danish Hovea SMG, which is certainly not one you see ever. Probably not even if you live in Denmark. If they've ever made a Hovea based semiauto SBR, well news to me. I bet most of you are now looking up what a Hovea is.

What I found interesting was reference to "long range caliber rifles".

"Hey, guy, I need to buy a 3 boxes of long range".
