Blue Dot
Picked up a pound of Blue Dot yesterday to try in my .38 Super. I have noticed in a couple of my manuals that BD gives equal or better velocity at slightly lower (reported) pressures than Unique. My top end loads with Unique flatten primers a bit more than I'm comfortable with, so I thought I'd try some BD. Goal is to get a Hornady 124 grain XTP up to 1300 fps to match the old Super loads of yesteryear.
Never used Blue Dot before - anything I should know about it before I start tinkering around with it?
