Transnational Socialists hate the military. But, seldom is the question of WHY they hate it so is addressed.

The reason is two-fold:

First, they hate the idea of national sovereignty; for it stands in the way of their goal of a World Government run by un-elected, unaccountable self-selected elites. The Armed Forces are the most visible and powerful expression of that sovereignty and is, thus, the focus of the Left’s hatred.

Second, they hate the Armed Forces because because the latter represents virtues that are foreign to the left; Duty, Courage, Self-Sacrifice, Discipline and Honor. The Armed Forces hold up to them an example they are incapable of meeting. They know in their guts the Armed Forces are made up of men and women who are better people than they can ever hope to become. The Left hates them because our military throws their own inadequacies as human beings into such stark relief.
